Private yoga classes to prepare for taking a group class, working methodically on the foundations of yoga, perfecting those tricky poses or learning to breath. All these elements are often worked through at a fast pace when addressed in a group class. My one-to-one classes allow assimilation of these key pillars at a pace and level that suits you. Yoga classes for the individual: new to yoga, coming back from injury, find breathing correctly while practicing difficult? Working methodically in a one to one environment gives you the know how and practical skills needed to create your own practice, build enough strength to attend or return to a group class or confidently connect breath to movement. Clients range from circus performers to grannies. Couples yoga: whether you're romantic partners or business partners, the benefits of couples yoga are enormous. Partner yoga is an excellent opportunity for couples to play, relax, and deepen their connection with each other, while receiving all the benefits of yoga. Tailoring yoga: if you're a classical musician, dancer, circus performer, sports enthusiast / professional, dentist, hair dresser or have any job that holds the body repeatedly in one position or puts excessive strain in certain areas, you can benefit hugely from a yoga class that is specifically crafted for your needs. Yoga used within sports coaching is rapidly becoming recognised as the missing link in traditional strength and conditioning programmes in many disciplines. This type of specificity does not have to be limited to sports. In combination with my knowledge and experience of postural and structural fitness, I deliver a highly specialised approach to supporting the body through the rigours of training or daily repetition of work in order to find balance, strength and flexibility in both body and mind. Connecting breath to movement, having good postural alignment and using the correct muscle activation are key to practicing yoga without injury, whilst gaining the maximum benefits.
